Baptist Health College Little Rock Practical Nursing Graduates Achieve 98.6% Board Pass Rate
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR) School of Practical Nursing graduates passed their national certification exam administered by the National Council State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) with a 98.6% pass rate. The graduating class of 75 students comprised of Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates, 74 passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) on the first attempt.
The NCLEX-PN examination is required for all practical nurses (LPN) across the United States to obtain a license to become a practical nurse. The NCLEX-PN ensures LPNs enter the field prepared to adequately serve and treat patients.
Susan Brock, DNP, RN, coordinator of the Schools of Nursing, is excited to see the next generation of nurses enter the field.
“We are incredibly proud to welcome the next generation of nurses into the health care field,” Brock said. “Their dedication and resilience is reflected in their board pass rates. These new professionals are not only prepared to provide exceptional care, but are also prepared to lead in their workplaces.”
Joel Hicks, EdD, RT(R), president of BHCLR, is proud of the recent graduates and their hard work.
“These board pass rates are a testament to the exceptional education and support provided by our faculty and staff in the lives of our students,” Hicks said. “We are excited to see the impact these nurses will have on health care and could not be more proud of their success.”
