Baptist Health College Little Rock Graduates 197 Students at 2024 Fall Commencement

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health College Little Rock hosted its Fall Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at Barton Coliseum. This fall, 197 graduates crossed the stage from five programs of study: Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technology, Practical Nursing, Nursing-Traditional and Nursing-Accelerated. 

This fall’s commencement address was given by the Rev. Michael Rogers, D. Min, BCC, system director of Pastoral Care at Baptist Health. The introduction of classes and announcement of awards was by Dr. Karen James, PhD, OTR/L, CAPS, CLA, interim president, and Dr. Susan Brock, DNP, RN, interim dean of nursing. Students were presented their diplomas by Greg Crain, president of Baptist Health’s central region. 

Dr. James is proud of this fall’s graduating class and their accomplishments. 

We celebrated not just the accomplishments of this remarkable graduating class, but also their resilience and determination,” said Dr. James. This fall’s graduates stand as a testament to the power of perseverance and the promise of a brighter future. As an interim president, I am honored to witness the impact they are poised to make on the world. The journey ahead is theirs to shape, and I have no doubt they will lead with courage and purpose.”
