Q: How do I access my e-mail account?
A: You can access your e-mail account here . Your username is your first name.last name@bhclr.edu (Example: john.doe@bhclr.edu). Your initial password is your student ID. You will be prompted to choose a new password after the first login. All e-mail passwords must be at least eight characters in length. If your student ID number is less than nine digits, your password will have leading zeros (enough to total 9 total digits). First time users will be prompted to accept the terms and agreements after entering their login credentials. Users are required to accept the terms and agreements before proceeding to their e-mail account.


Q: How do I forward my BHCLR email to my personal email account?
A: Students can forward their BHCLR email to their personal email accounts by following these steps:
  1. Login to your current BHCLR student e-mail account at: gmail.com.
  2. Select the “Settings” link located in the top right corner and select Settings in the drop down menu.
  3. Select the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab under the “Settings” section.
  4. Under “Forwarding” click on the "Add a Forwarding Address" button”.
  5. In the box provided enter your personal e-mail address and click next.
  6. A window will pop up, click on the Proceed button.
  7. A verification email will be sent to your personal email address. Enter the Confirmation code and click verify.
  8. Click on the "Forward a copy of incoming mail" button and mail will be forwarded to your personal email account.


Q: Where can I access my e-mail while on campus?
A: Students at the Colonel Glenn campus can check their e-mail in the Learning Resource Center across from the Financial Aid offices. A Wi-Fi connection is also available through out the Colonel Glenn campus. Students located at the Barrow Road campus can access their e-mail at the Barrow Road computer lab. Q: Who do I contact if I forget my password?
A: If you have a personal e-mail account you can contact IT@bhclr.edu. You can also call 501-202-7774 during hours of operation and 501-410-7819 after 4:30pm for assistance.


Q: How do I change my password?
A: You can change your e-mail password by following these steps. 1) Log-in to your e-mail account. 2) Select the "Settings" link in the top right hand corner. 3) On the "Settings" page select the "Accounts" tab. 4) Select the "Change Password" link located at the bottom of the "Accounts" tab. 5) You will then be required to enter your old password and your new password. You must enter the new password a second time confirm that it was typed correctly. 6) Click the "Change Password" button to complete the change. Please refer to the Help Center for more information on e-mail features, options and general troubleshooting.


Q: What happens to my e-mail account when I graduate or if I withdrawal from BHCLR?
A:Student e-mail accounts may be terminated at any time, however, accounts usually remain open one week following graduation.


Q: Is it important for me to frequently check my BHCLR e-mail?
A: Yes, BHCLR uses e-mail as a way of notifying students of important information and events. It is the student's responsibility to check their e-mail on a regular basis.


Q: Is e-mail a secure method of sending information?
A: E-mail correspondence is not a secure confidential means of communication and at no time may a student send confidential patient, student or employee information via e-mail. In the use of the e-mail services, a student's behavior and actions must comply with the Baptist Health Code of Ethical Conduct. Please refer to the e-mail policy for more information.


Q: Where can I find a listing of faculty/staff e-mail addresses?
A: Faculty and staff e-mail addresses can be found here. Please note that faculty and staff e-mail addresses end in "@baptist-health.org" while student e-mail addresses end in "@bhclr.edu".
